Discovery Ducklings

This session is for young children, specifically for babies from birth (subject to Health Visitor advice being followed), to 3 years old.

Yes, our Discovery Ducklings sessions are led by a fully qualified swim instructor from the poolside with parent/carer and child in the water.

The aim of the sessions will be to build your child's confidence in the water through play and songs.

All babies or toddlers must wear a disposable or reusable paper swim nappy underneath a swimming costume or swim shorts.

Babies may wear a baby wet suit, even though we swim in warm water your little one may need a bit of extra warmth (with a wet suit it is easier to position child in water) .

All children under the age of 8 must be supervised in the water and changing rooms at all times, by a responsible person of 16 years or over.
A responsible person may fully supervise no more than two children under the age of 8 years.
