What's inside the beach hut?
The beach huts are located on the promenade and look over the sandy beach at South Blyth. Each hut has timbered interior with a bench seat and small work surface. A kettle, 4 Deck Chairs and coat hooks are provided.
Are toilets and showers available?
Public toilets, external showers and a water supply are just a short distance away, located at the Dave Stephens Centre.
How do I collect my keys?
The key to your Chalet must be collected from the Dave Stephens Centre between 8.00am - 10am, on the day of your booking. Late arrivals may alternatively collect a key from Blyth Sports Centre. The key must be handed back to its collection point, no later than 7pm. In the event of a lost key, please inform a member of staff at the Dave Stephens Centre or contact Reception at Blyth Sports Centre. The hirer must pay for the cost of a replacement key.
Can I rent a beach hut on a long term basis?
Yes, we have a number of our beach huts currently hired out on a lease agreement (9 month agreement or 12 month agreement). Please get in touch for more information by emailing business_support@activenorthumberland.org.uk

Can I hire a beach hut for the day?
Beach Huts are available to rent on a daily agreement over the Spring and Summer months by emailing enquiries@activenorthumberland.org.uk
If we have a beach hut available on your chosen day, one of our team will be in touch to confirm your booking. Payment must be made upon booking and is non - refundable.
