New Ponteland Leisure Centre - OPENING SOON!

The wait is almost over! As we enter our very final stages of development, we're pleased to announce that we will be opening the doors to our new state-of-the-art Ponteland Leisure Centre in November.

The multi-million pound investment, funded by Northumberland County Council, will offer a hub of leisure activities for all the community under ONE roof!

As well as offering a brand new gym with the latest Techogym equipment, revamped fitness class offer and state-of-the-art swimming pool, we offer SO MUCH MORE:

Gym and Technogym Equipment

TechnoGym is a world leading supplier of fitness equipment. They share our passion of promoting wellness and provide the ultimate connected experience for your gym workout through their MyWellness platform.

Track all of your workouts, join challenges and let our team create a personalied training programme which sits on the app for you to access throughout your workout.

Fitness Classes

The new centre will offer us purpose built exercise studios where our team will bring you a range of workouts from Les Mills, Yoga and more.

PLUS, we have a dedicated cycling studio to bring you live indoor cycling classes and which will be available throughout the day for virtual classes.

Swimming Pool

We will have a 6 lane, 25m pool PLUS a learner pool with aqua play features too.

This will allow us to continue to offer our fantastic swimming programme at Ponteland which includes our Learn to Swim pathway plus competitive swim club opportunities.

What's more, with the learner pool and aqua play features this will be great for young families to build confidence in the water.

HIVE CAFE

Relax and unwind in our community cafe. We serve gorgeous barista style coffee with a menu offering taste sensations. Even our treats are on the health...ier side!

HIVE Sports Bar

Hive Sports Bar will be a new destination for the town, serving mouth-watering food delights and drinks for all occasions. Sports fans will have the ultimate experience with live sports on our giant pull down screen and TV's throughout the bar, bringing you sport from across the globe.

Hive Sports bar will offer something for everyone from barista style coffees to evening drinks with mates, Fizz Fridays or family meal deal treats.
