One-to-One’s will be reintroduced but not in the first instance. We will advise via our website and social media channels when this is available.

In the first instance our existing swimmers will be given priority, however we hope to be able to accept new children onto the scheme from mid September.

Due to the reduced capacities that we are allowed within our facilities, we ask that you do not bring siblings into the building with you. However, we do recognise that this may not always be possible and we will accommodate siblings if you have no alternative options.

This may be an option, a member of our team will discuss this with you when we call you.

Unfortunately, due to the demand for our Learn2Swim Scheme, we will not be freezing Direct Debits. If you do not want your child to return to the scheme please complete our online cancellation form HERE.

We will be allowing you to spectate the lessons, however this may not be from the location you are used to. We will advise you of our spectating areas on your arrival for your first lesson.
We will be asking all spectators who are able to view the lessons from the balcony to wear a face covering, in line with 1 metre plus guidance from the Government.

  • We ask that all children come to their lesson “pool ready” (swimming costumes on under their clothes) and accompanied by 1 adult.
  • You may be asked to wait outside the centre until a member of staff comes to collect you.
  • You will be asked to sanitize your hands and you will be signposted to the poolside (following directional signage).
  • Please remove your shoes before entering the poolside or bring an appropriate change of footwear, such as flip flops.
  • The swimming instructor will be waiting for you. The child will get ready for their lesson on the poolside whilst you accompany them (no changing facilities will be available prior to the lesson). You will then need to take your childs clothes with you to a designated waiting area.
  • After the lesson you will collect the child from the poolside, the child will be allowed a quick rinse (30 seconds) in the shower before you take them to a changing cubicle to get dry and changed.
  • We ask for your help by getting the child dry and ready as quickly as possible to allow us to clean the changing village in between the lessons.

We will be calling parents this week - please call us if you've not heard from us after 31st August 2020
Our teams are working extremely hard to make contact with all parents prior to the lessons starting on the 7th September. If you do not receive a call please contact us via email or by calling us on  01670 620200 after 31st August 2020.

The decision to move children to an alternative pool as to what they were swimming in prior to COVID19 has been based on Health & Safety.

Where possible we will try and signpost the children to classes on the same day and a similar time as they were swimming previously, however this may not always be possible. A member of our team will be making contact with you in the coming days to discuss the options.

We are still going through the process of allocating instructors to lessons. We are confident that all of our instructors will deliver our lessons to our usual high standards.
