Active in the community - about

We are passionate about helping people in Northumberland live active and healthy lifestyles. Through our Sports Development teams, we offer access to sport and physical activity opportunities to communities across Northumberland.
Our three sport and leisure development teams work closely with key partners and stakeholders in order to reach the whole of the county.
The teams provide activities to improve community inclusion, cohesion and opportunities and as a non-statutory service, they rely on external funding and grants to achieve their aims and objectives.
Please click on the individual team to find out more about the services they provide.
