Whether you’re looking for somewhere fun to take the whole family on a rainy day or you want a place with great exercise facilities to achieve your fitness goals, you’ll find it at Willowburn Sports and Leisure Centre.
Make a splash in our 25-metre, six-lane swimming pool with moveable floor and 10-metre teaching pool. Work up a sweat in our spacious gym or during one of our sporting activities in our large indoor sports hall. Reach new heights on our bouldering wall or take your kids to the softplay area.

All the activities listed below take place at the centre.
This is a turn up activity. You do not need to book in advance. For runners of all abilities aged 14 yrs+
For parents and carers who would like to participate in some physical activity. 2 mile route with group exercises designed to strengthen and tone muscles. This is a turn up activity. You do not need to book in advance
Swim lengths for exercise. No music. For age 18+
Group exercise session in the pool for pregnant women.
Start the day with a revitalising swim. Open to all.
General swimming for fitness and pleasure. Open to all ages and abilities.
Pool inflatable available during school holidays and weekends. No swimming lanes are available during these sessions.
Adults only 18+. Low lights in the pool hall and subtle underwater lighting makes this swimming session a very relaxing experience.
Dedicated women's session. For age 18+. Children aged 14-17 years old may attend if accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+.
Table tennis - available for bookings/casual use
Cricket coaching - held in partnership with the Northumberland cricket board. A fun, skilled based activity to help improve overall technique.

In this fun class you will learn line dancing routines.
A mat-based class designed to focus your mind and body on your core stability and postural muscles.
Uses barbells and adjustable weights to achieve all-over toning and conditioning. Choosing your own weights will determine how hard you work.
A high-energy, effective workout using a step.
Gives you great aerobic fitness. A group-based static-cycle class where you can work at your own level by controlling the resistance of your bike.
Uses body-weight resistance and the latest suspension techniques to achieve all-over toning.
A high-intensity conditioning workout both in and out of the pool. Keep your shorts and T-shirts on and prepare to work hard!
Contains smooth, gentle movements that will increase flexibility, suppleness, aid relaxation and help to keep the mind calm and focused.
Shapes, tones and stretches the body by moving into and holding set positions, as well as creating inner peace and harmony.
Fabulous family fun! All ages welcome! Roller discos are held weekly at Concordia (01670) 542222 but sessions also take place monthly at Willowburn (01665) 605030 and Newbiggin (01670) 542222. Please call the centre for details of the next roller disco.
