Our FREE health walks are designed to encourage you to make walking a regular part of your life.
There are many benefits to walking which include enjoying the fresh air while improving your health and fitness, meeting other people and socialising, boosting your mood all whilst taking in the stunning surroundings.
The walks vary in length from short to intermediate and long, and are open to everyone. Our walks are led by trained volunteers who are available to provide encouragement and support and take participants on routes around Allendale, Bellingham, Corbridge, Haltwhistle, Hexham, Prudhoe, Stocksfield and Wark.
All walks are completely FREE! Occasionally, we will organise special ‘away days’ which cost a small amount to cover the cost of transport.
