With the school holidays just around the corner,  Active Northumberland has lined up an action-packed programme of  activities to keep young children entertained throughout the week - and many of them are free!

There is a  wide selection of  activities on offer including  gymnastics, swimming, dodgeball, badminton, archery, tennis, trampolining, and much more.

Opportunities will be available for all ages - from tots to teens - of  varying abilities and interests.

There will also be a range of sports camps run by fully qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches.

Northumberland County Council and Active Northumberland are working in partnership to deliver  Northumberland’s Ability 2 Play scheme for young people and adults with learning and physical disabilities. There will be a fantastic Stay All Day option where parents can drop their children off and leave them with fully qualified staff for an action packed day of fun activities. Also on the timetable for young people is bowling, football, horse riding and an art workshop.

While some of the  activities are ‘turn up sessions’ where you complete the registration form and  turn up and play, others must be booked in advance to secure your place.
