6 week gym challenge at Blyth Sports Centre

Blyth six week summer gym challenge

Blyth Sports Centre has laid down a six week gym challenge to encourage more people to get fit over the summer.

The challenge involves the following -

1 - Book a Tanita scales assessment in Week 1
2 - Choose one of the 3 goals
3 - Follow your personal 6 week programme designed by your instructor.
4 - After 6 weeks see if you have achieved your goal by doing another Tanita assessment.

The Tanita body analyser measures both body fat and muscle mass giving a true indicator of your inner health. When monitored over time, the analyser can show the impact of any fitness regime or weight loss programme helping you to achieve your optimal fitness and improve your health and wellbeing.

Those taking part can choose one of three challenges - 

1 - Lose 10 lbs in weight
2 - Lose 5% of body fat
3 - Gain 2kgs of muscle mass.

Advice on how to achieve your goal will be given by fitness advisors. Active Northumberland members will be eligible for a free one to one assessment and fitness programme.

The challenge is open to Active Northumberland members and casual users of the centre.
