Get walking in Cramlington with the Cramlington Doorstep Walks

Whether you’re visiting or live in the area of Cramlington, it’s now easier than ever to get out and enjoy walking in our beautiful county. We have three walks covering the North, South East and West of Cramlington. You can find maps of the routes below.

North of Cramlington

At the north side of Horton Burn above the play park, there is a noticeboard with a map of the routes. At 2.4 miles, the red route is the longest route and follows the outer boundary of all of the other routes. Each of the other coloured routes are between 1.1 and 1.6 miles which take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.


South East of Cramlington

In Alexandra park, there is a noticeboard with a map of the routes. At 2.7 miles, the red route is the longest route and follows the outer boundary of all of the other routes. Each of the other coloured routes are between 1.5 and 1.9 miles which take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.



Village and West of Cramlington

The noticeboard with a map of the routes is located in Smithy square on Blagdon terrace. At 6.1 miles, the red route is the longest and follows the outer boundary of all the other routes. This walk incorporates play parks, a shopping centre, a garden centre and a giant land sculpture so there’s something for everyone! Each of the other coloured routes are between 1.2 and 2.8 miles which take approximately 30-70 minutes to complete.
