No swimming involved and specialist instruction in water based exercise. Water will reduce your body weight on the affected joints and make exercise more achievable. As well as improving daily activity it can aid in preparing the body for surgery and aid in recovery following surgery.

Who is it for?

Designed for those who are looking to follow an individualised training programme in a new way.

What's provided

Those who have completed the GP referral scheme, or those wanting to start to exercise independently in water. Call 01670622370 for further information about the scheme.

What to bring

  • Non slip shoes/socks for poolside or in the water
  • Swimming costume or shorts and t-shirt
  • Towel & water bottle
  • Goggles & nose plug optional
