Pool Inflatable sessions

Intensity Level

What is it?

Some of our centre's have giant inflatables that are secured into the swimming pool providing great fun and challenges for swimmers.

Why do it?

Pool inflatable sessions are great fun. Perfect for kids to burn off some energy and have a great time with friends in the water.

Who is it for?

Our pool inflatable sessions are generally for confident young and adult swimmers, as some of the inflatables extend into deep water.
Each centre has slightly different pool safety guidelines for the pool inflatable which are listed below.

Please read the pool safety guidelines here

What to bring

Ashington Leisure Centre

Children are not allowed onto the inflatable until they have successfully completed an assessment to swim 25m of the pool by a lifeguard.
Once the child has demonstrated that they can swim 25m, the lifeguard will give them a band which will allow access to the inflatable. This assessment will be completed for children attending inflatable parties too.
If they are unable to swim the 25mtrs they will not be handed a band and will not be allowed in the pool whilst the inflatable is in but they can use the small pool.  Children attending parties who are not able to swim the 25mtrs can stay in the main pool with the inflatable.
